At MBW Santa Fe we have plenty of experience servicing all the major dropper brands and can advise you on how to best maintain yours. Costs range from as low as $30 for a cleaning and regreasing of your post’s dust wiper and upper bushing, on up to about $175 for a complete overhaul of a Rockshox Reverb.

Complete rear shock service

***MBW Santa Fe is now fully equipped with Nitrogen Gas required for full FOX rear shock overhauls***

If your rear shock has a damper system that isn’t functioning well, you’ll know it out on the trail. Bumps aren’t absorbed as they should be and your shock may be bouncing you around instead keeping your wheels hugging the ground. If you request an air-can service and I determine the damping function is compromised, I’ll show you why and give you a quote to get your rear shock completely overhauled. Prices range from $150 for simpler single-can air shocks (Fox Float or Rockshox Monarch/Deluxe) on up to $250 for piggyback-style shocks like the Fox Float X2.

additional services

Before beginning MBW Santa Fe, I serviced suspension full-time in the Factory Service Department at local bike parts distributor Bicycle Technologies International (BTI). This experience means there isn’t much I haven’t worked on. However, for certain components, it’s more cost-effective to send them out for service. For these reasons I use BTI’s services for some smaller suspension brands and Fox Transfer seatposts. Even if you have a rarer brand, such as Formula or Ohlins, you can reach out to me with confidence that even if I’m unable to service it, I’ll find someone who can.
