If you’re looking for something a bit more concrete, our friends at the Radavist just released a beautiful new coffeetable book, Camera Corner: Wende Cragg and the Birth of Mountain Biking. It’s got some gorgeous documentation of the fearless (and stylish) folks bombing down Marin and Colorado fire roads on “clunker” bikes in the 70s, inventing the sport we love and clearly having a great time doing it.
